To ensure a seamless and enjoyable experience, please bring the following essentials:
• Full Water bottle: Staying hydrated is crucial.
• Loose Clothing: Bring warm, loose clothing for after your session ( there are no changing rooms). Bring a bathrobe or swimrobe for additional comfort.
• Swimwear: Required attire (nudity, streetwear, and underwear are not permitted).
• Two towels: One for hygiene while seated in the sauna and another for drying off.
• Pre-session shower: Arrive freshly showered (only cool rinse showers are available).
• Flip-flops or beach shoes: Ideal for comfort outside the sauna, but must be left at the door.
Arrive 5 minutes early to:
• Settle in
• Hang your things
• Receive a friendly briefing
Please arrive “sauna ready”, as you would the beach.
Late arrivals = shorter sessions, so please be on time and mindful of the next guests.
Please refrain from using any products in the outdoor showers to protect the environment.
It’s important to ensure you are in good physical and mental health before using the sauna.
Use of the sauna is undertaken at your own risk. Solace Sauna has taken all necessary steps to minimise potential hazards in compliance with UK Health and Safety regulations. However, participants must assess their own physical and mental fitness before use. If in doubt, please consult your GP before booking.
We strongly advise seeking medical advice if any of the following conditions apply to you:
Epilepsy or seizures
• Joint or muscle injuries
• High or low blood pressure
• Pregnancy or suspected pregnancy
• Pacemaker or defibrillator presence
• Asthma or other respiratory conditions
• Heart attack, stroke, or cardiovascular conditions
• Recent surgical implants, such as metal pins or rods
• Diabetes with peripheral neuropathy or reduced sensation
• Medical conditions affecting the ability to sweat (e.g., anhidrosis)
• Medications that affect heat response, including antihistamines, anticoagulants, vasoconstrictors, vasodilators, stimulants, tranquillisers, or sleeping pills
• Recent heavy meals (within 1.5 hours) or intense exercise (allow time for body temperature to normalise)
• Contagious diseases, infectious skin conditions, open sores, or wounds
Please note: Everyone’s body responds differently to heat, so listen to your body’s signals and adjust your time in the sauna as needed. No set time works for everyone, and it’s important not to push yourself beyond your comfort zone. We recommended limiting your sauna sessions to no more than 15 minutes at a time (we recommend 0-8 minutes for beginners, followed by cooling down outside and/or a brief cold shower).
If you experience dizziness, nausea, discomfort, or illness while using the sauna, exit immediately and seek medical attention if necessary.
Your health and safety are our top priorities. Stay hydrated and listen to your body during your session. If you have any health concerns, consult with your healthcare provider before booking. You MUST review and sign our health and safety waiver carefully before your visit.
If you are booking on behalf of a group, you are responsible for ensuring all participants are informed of these terms and follow them.

• Adverse weather conditions, including storms, wind, or rain

Yes. Within a minute's walk, you can access the ground's indoor and outdoor toilet facilities. If you’re visiting The Lookout Café at Lepe Beach, please ensure you’re fully covered - swimwear-only attire isn’t suitable for the café, and we kindly ask you not to use their indoor toilets as changing facilities.
We recommend arriving 5 minutes before your scheduled session. This allows ample time to hang your items and receive a helpful briefing before your sauna experience begins. Please note that your session time includes changing, so late arrivals will result in a shorter session. There are no changing rooms, please arrive "sauna ready", as you would the beach.
We want everyone to have a relaxing and respectful experience, so here are a few key guidelines:
• Harassment or disruptive behaviour of any kind will not be tolerated.
• For hygiene reasons, please always sit on a towel while inside the sauna.
• Swimwear is required for all sessions - nudity is not allowed as our sauna is in a public setting.
• Be considerate of others: Be mindful of conversation and respect personal space.
Lastly, if you’re visiting The Lookout Café at Lepe Beach, please ensure you’re fully covered - swimwear-only attire isn’t suitable for the café, and we kindly ask you not to use their indoor toilets as changing facilities.
Following these simple guidelines helps create a welcoming and enjoyable experience for everyone.
We’re a wild mobile sauna, so no changing rooms. Please arrive “sauna ready”, as you would the beach. We recommend wearing loose, easy-to-change clothing over your swimwear and/or a changing robe to easily cover up and keep warm.
• A small storage area is available near the sauna (separated by a tinted glass door for privacy and heat).
• Hooks are provided, but no lockers. Travel light.
• Overflow items can go in the box outside.
• The sauna has a cold outdoor shower.
Note: Please note that the security of your belongings is your responsibility, and we cannot accept liability for any unattended items. Any lost items will be kept at our sauna for up to 14 days. After that, unclaimed items will be donated to charity or responsibly disposed of.
A friendly reminder: Please be mindful of our next guests and ensure the storage space is available for their session. We will give you a gentle reminder when you have 10 minutes left of your session.

Our sauna operates between 70–90 degrees Celsius. The heat is carefully maintained to create a soothing atmosphere. While our operators are fully trained to monitor and maintain the sauna at the correct operating temperature, it’s important to note that heat levels may fluctuate slightly. These changes can occur due to external weather conditions, as well as the number of people using the sauna and the frequency of entry and exit. To help maintain a consistent and enjoyable temperature for everyone, we kindly ask guests to keep the sauna door closed as much as possible.
Your host will drizzle water on the rocks, which is a traditional way to enhance the sauna experience by controlling the steam and humidity. Only water provided by the sauna host is permitted to be drizzled on the stove.
Tip: Your host will avoid pouring large amounts of water, as it may cause temporary heat spikes, but can ultimately cool the rocks down.
Yes, we have a cold plunge and a cold shower.
At Lepe Beach, we have a cold plunge. If you choose to use the cold plunge, you do so at your own discretion and risk. Please be aware that the water temperature is typically between 8–15°C. This is a cold plunge for refreshing, not an ice bath.
Cold water exposure can provide benefits without reaching ice-bath temperatures, with studies showing effects at around 10–15 °C. Because of the rural location and lack of electrical infrastructure for chillers, a cold plunge is offered instead of an ice bath.
We advise users to consult with a medical professional if they have any underlying health conditions, and to listen to their body at all times. Cold water immersion is entirely voluntary and should only be undertaken by those who feel confident and physically able. Bathers must shower before using the cold plunge to ensure hygiene.
For an ideal experience, spend 5–15 minutes in the sauna, followed by a cold rinse/plunge or a refreshing cooldown outside. You can repeat this cycle, listening to how you feel throughout the process. Please stay mindful of safety and pay attention to your body’s needs.
If you choose to enter a plunge pool or nearby body of water (river, lake, or sea) for cold water immersion, this is done entirely at your own risk. Solace Sauna cannot be held responsible for any incidents that may occur.
Cold Plunge Use: At some of our sites, such as Lepe Beach, we may have a cold plunge. If you choose to use the cold plunge, you do so at your own discretion and risk. Please be aware that the water temperature is typically between 8–15°C. This is a cold plunge for refreshing, not an ice bath.

A Sensory Sauna Ritual is a guided, sensory experience combining heat therapy, aromatherapy, music, and natural treatments to relax, cleanse, and restore. No two rituals are the same - some may be themed, and others may form part of collaborative events such as Yoga & Sauna Rituals or seasonal wellness sessions.
Each ritual may include:
• Aromatherapy and botanicals (lavender, mint, basil, orange, rose, coconut, etc.)
• Leaf whisking
• Body scrubs and face masks
• Salt therapy
• Music and sound
• Other natural wellness touches
Please note: Essential oils and botanicals are used during rituals. It is your responsibility to inform Solace Sauna staff of any allergies, sensitivities, or medical conditions before your session. Participation in treatments like scrubs or masks is voluntary and at your own discretion.
A standard private booking is for up to 4 people, with additional guests available at extra cost. Each ritual is unique - shaped by the season and the group - making every visit a one-of-a-kind experience.
